Regarding the wine, we apologize if it fell short of your expectations. We understand that individual appetites may vary, and we will take your feedback into consideration to ensure a more satisfying experience for future guests. Our tour is designed to provide an immersive culinary experience, including 11+ tastes and enough food for a full lunch. We apologize if you felt there were not enough stops to balance with the price. We appreciate your kind words about our knowledgeable and pleasant guide, Emily. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent experience with our Paris Ultimate Food Tour. The tour was well timed, a gentle walking tour, with an eclectic and fascinating agenda - led by a highly knowledgeable and charming guide, who was joined unexpectedly by his wife walking their friendly and bouncy dog quite unexpectedly. This included the most amazing innovative pastries at ALEPH - a Levant inspired - and totally delicious mini desert So we could just enjoy Joshua’s knowledge and friendly style without a worry some of the food we tried was absolutely amazing and took us on a journey from the Revolution up to innovation of this year. There was zero influence to buy anything we saw or tasted, which was great. Each stop came with a short chat to explain the intention of great bakers, chocolatiers, cheese and wine makers, as well as foods that re-emerged as “family dining” became part of the post revolution streetscape. ![]() We were a small group of 8 escorted around multiple artisanal establishments enjoying everything from Moroccan Tea (with mint) through to French Onion Soup and amazing Pain au chocolate & Croissants. Then in no particular order, the best (externally awarded) Macaron in Paris, and then to a chocolatier who’s dark chocolate was just awesome and many more fun stops on our walk We learned and sampled real French bread, saw an absolute original Salvador Dali food creation- created by Dali and a 2nd generation Master baker Knowledgeable and personable - moving with a good pace but more than enough time to educate and entertain our small group. Joshua is super smart and a great Tour leader. ![]() The tour is inclusive and totally accessible to foodies of all ages. Top guide leading super journey through a working history of the Marais district and its contribution to the Parisien food legacy - and an introduction to the great local chefs who are fighting to keep fine fresh local produce & ingredients and traditional skills at the centre of the Paris foodies agenda.
